Responsibilities
- Del compassionate, evidence-based patient care across diverse medical units under preceptor supervision
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols while monitoring patient responses
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency situations with confidence
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital policies
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Complete all residency program requirements and skills validation checkpoints
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) within the last 12 months
- Current Georgia RN license or compact license with intent to obtain GA license
- BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
