Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile supplies and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Inventory and organize surgical instruments and equipment
- Transport patients and specimens safely within the facility
- Document procedural activities accurately
- Participate in continuous skills development training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior surgical experience necessary
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for extended periods in fast-paced environments
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Commitment to completing our 8-week certification program
- Tennessee Surgical Tech certification preferred (will assist with obtaining)
