Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment and arranging sterile fields
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during surgical procedures
- Assist with patient positioning and draping in sterile environments
- Maintain accurate instrument counts and inventory management
- Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and safety protocols
- Collaborate with RNs and anesthesia teams for seamless care delivery
- Participate in continuous education through our mentorship program
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Certification eligibility (CST preferred but not required)
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Successful background check and drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Commitment to completing our paid training program
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
