Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency/trauma settings with critical decision-making skills
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care protocols
- Adhere to JCAHO and facility-specific safety standards
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
- Complete mandatory training and competency validations
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years recent ICU/ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN with experience considered)
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced environments
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
