Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical urgency using established protocols
- Provide telehealth consultations and triage advice to patients via phone and digital platforms
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients on self-care and appropriate healthcare resources
- Respond to critical situations with calm, decisive action
Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN license (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years emergency or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
