Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Assist with mobility transfers using provided equipment
- Monitor vital signs and document care progress
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding
- Administer prescribed medications accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments (vehicle provided)
- Maintain a safe, clean home environment
- Communicate care updates to family and care coordinators
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with provided equipment
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and compassion working with elderly clients
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
