Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft dental software
- Provide chairside assistance during complex procedures
- Order supplies and maintain organized inventory systems
- Deliver post-operative instructions and follow-up care
Qualifications
- CDA certification or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years of chairside dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and dental regulations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Dental Eaglesoft software experience preferred
