Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory protocols
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education on oral hygiene
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certificate or associate degree
- Current Massachusetts Dental Radiography Certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficiency with digital imaging and practice management software
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
