Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical cases
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Implement strict infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Coordinate seamless scheduling and chairside efficiency
- Assist with front desk duties including insurance verification
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Oregon Radiology certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Mastery of dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft preferred)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple procedures simultaneously
- CPR certification and BLS training current
