Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop digital dental radiographs with precision
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal chairside efficiency
- Perform coronal polishing and apply sealants under supervision
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment documentation
- Coordinate lab cases and manage inventory of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current California Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DAEF required)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR certification and X-ray safety training
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional chairside communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
