Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including restorative and surgical procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization processes
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting
- Order and inventory dental supplies efficiently
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (CDA or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography (X-rays) and Eaglesoft software
- CPR/BLS certification (must be current)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
