Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including restorative and surgical procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization processes
- Operate digital imaging systems and practice management software
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and maintain clinical supply organization
- Assist with front desk duties when needed
Qualifications
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) or RDAEF certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CORI certification in radiography and infection control
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona preferred)
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification
