Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgery
- Perform intraoral X-rays and digital imaging with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments efficiently
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Manage patient flow and coordinate with front desk staff
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and CBCT imaging
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- CPR/BLS certification current or obtainable within 30 days
- Excellent communication skills and multitasking ability
- Experience with Eaglesoft or DentalWorks software preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional Saturdays
