Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgeries and restorative treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate dental impressions and expose/develop diagnostic radiographs
- Manage patient flow and ensure seamless appointment transitions
- Maintain digital records using Dentrix/Epic software systems
- Train new staff on clinic protocols and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Radiology License required
- 2+ years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital imaging and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Knowledge of dental materials and restorative procedures
