Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Maintain sterilization protocols and instrument inventory
- Manage patient scheduling and documentation
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Assist with digital imaging and practice management software
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays)
- Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency (EHR systems)
