Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for procedures, ensuring optimal comfort and safety
- Assist dentists during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Maintain sterile instruments and infection control protocols
- Manage digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Coordinate inventory and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Active Kansas Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona)
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
