Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform digital radiography and chairside assistance using advanced dental technology
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards per OSHA guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for optimal patient flow
- Delieve patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintain accurate digital records using Eaglesoft practice management software
- Coordinate patient scheduling and chairside efficiency with front desk team
Qualifications
- Current Colorado Dental Assistant certification and radiography license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray, CBCT) and dental software
- CPR/BLS certification (current or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Demonstrated knowledge of infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
