Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take dental X-rays and maintain digital imaging systems
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate scheduling and ensure efficient patient flow
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in radiography techniques and safety protocols
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Dent practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
