Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and treatment areas following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage patient scheduling, digital records, and insurance verification
- Provide post-operative instructions and compassionate chairside support
- Monitor inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Train new team members on practice protocols and equipment
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (must maintain current)
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Background check and drug screen required
