Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex restorative procedures including implants and crowns
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral photography using advanced imaging systems
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards exceeding OSHA requirements
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside assistance for multi-procedure appointments
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in prosthodontic/general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and CAD/CAM systems
- CPR/BLS certification (must maintain current)
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills for complex procedures
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills for patient education
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
