Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging with precision
- Maintain sterile instruments and equipment following OSHA guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for optimal efficiency
- Delieve patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between hygiene and clinical areas
- Manage digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA credentials required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in four-handed dentistry and infection control protocols
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental imaging systems
- Strong interpersonal skills for patient comfort and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR/BLS certification
