Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using advanced digital imaging and CAD/CAM systems
- Manage patient flow, sterilization protocols, and inventory control
- Take accurate dental radiographs and perform chairside assistance
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
- Maintain immaculate operatory setup and equipment calibration
- Coordinate with lab technicians for crown and bridge procedures
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography (X-ray) and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Exceptional chairside manner and infection control expertise
- Ability to manage multiple procedures in fast-paced environment
