Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical cases
- Digital radiography and intraoral imaging using advanced imaging systems
- Expanded Functions (EFDA) certification preferred for sealant and fluoride applications
- Strict adherence to OSHA and CDC protocols for sterilization and infection control
- Efficient management of digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Coordination of patient flow and scheduling to optimize clinical efficiency
- Inventory management and ordering of dental supplies and materials
Qualifications
- Current Indiana Dental Assistant license or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general or specialty dental practice
- CPR/BLS certification and radiology certification (RDA preferred)
- Proficiency with practice management software and digital imaging
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient education and anxiety management
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment while maintaining precision
- Expanded Functions certification (EFDA) strongly preferred
