Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography systems (CBCT/Panoramic) and implement infection control protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Coordinate with insurance providers and manage digital documentation
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order necessary materials
- Support front desk operations when needed including appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license in Nevada
- Minimum 2 years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy regulations
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced clinical environments
- Experience with dental imaging equipment (X-ray, intraoral cameras)
