Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorations and surgeries
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs with precision
- Perform infection control protocols and instrument sterilization (OSHA compliance)
- Manage patient records and digital charting using Eaglesoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for optimal workflow efficiency
- Delicate patient education on post-procedure care and oral hygiene
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or graduate of accredited program
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification and radiology license
- Proficiency with dental software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
