Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for optimal workflow efficiency
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with dental labs for prosthetic and orthodontic cases
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation
