Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient scheduling and coordinate with insurance companies
- Assist with dental software documentation and record-keeping
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Order inventory and manage dental supply stock
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) and imaging
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/BLS certification required
