Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Perform infection control and sterilization of instruments/equipment
- Manage patient records using digital dental software
- Assist in administrative tasks including scheduling and billing
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant dental operatory
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (CDA or RDA) required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental radiography and sterilization protocols
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft or DentalWorks software preferred
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
