Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform infection control and sterilization protocols
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Assist in administrative tasks including scheduling and billing
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order and maintain dental supplies inventory
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Dental Assistant certification (CDA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Proficiency with dental radiography equipment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
