Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Manage patient flow and ensure optimal sterilization protocols
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments efficiently
- Assist in patient education and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate digital dental records using Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate with hygienists and dentists for seamless patient experiences
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
