Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort
- Manage patient records using Eaglesoft software and digital charting systems
- Provide chairside support during procedures and post-operative care instructions
- Order inventory, maintain supplies, and ensure seamless clinic operations
- Deliver exceptional patient experiences through compassionate communication
Qualifications
- Active Washington State Dental Assistant certification and radiology permit
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona) and Eaglesoft practice management
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong knowledge of infection control and OSHA compliance standards
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Associate's degree or certificate from accredited dental assisting program
