Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proficiency
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Manage patient flow and maintain accurate digital records
- Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
