Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including endodontics and orthodontics
- Prepare and sterilize instruments while maintaining OSHA compliance standards
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Assist with patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Coordinate treatment plans with administrative team for seamless patient flow
- Maintain accurate patient records in our EHR system
Qualifications
- Current California RDA license or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years experience in general dentistry practice
- Proficiency in digital radiography (DEXIS, Sirona) preferred
- CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
