Responsibilities
- Process and submit clean claims to insurance payers using provided billing software
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to service rendering
- Resolve claim denials and appeals with precision documentation
- Conduct regular audits using provided equipment to ensure compliance with HIPAA and CMS regulations
- Collaborate with clinical teams to code services accurately using provided coding tools
- Generate monthly revenue reports using provided analytics systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with ICD-10 and CPT codes
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency with EHR systems (experience with Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance guidelines
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with provided equipment in hybrid setting
