Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinator
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship
- Perform light housekeeping tasks and medication reminders
- Transport clients to appointments and errands when required
- Maintain detailed care notes and communicate effectively with families
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year caregiving experience preferred (training provided for qualified candidates)
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
