Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Document care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Support residents with recreational activities and social engagement
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
Qualifications
- Current Oregon CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in long-term care
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/nights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to various Portland locations
