Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize cases using emergency nursing protocols
- Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations including vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for critical decision-making
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions
- Oversee triage workflow during high-volume periods
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years emergency nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EHR systems (e.g., Epic)
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
