Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Assist clients with mobility, personal hygiene, and daily living activities
- Offer companionship through conversation, walks, and engaging activities
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to appointments and social outings as needed
- Maintain detailed care logs and follow care plans precisely
- Uphold strict confidentiality and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant certification
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Clear background check and TB test results
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to accommodate client schedules including nights/weekends
- Proficiency in English (additional languages a plus)
