Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and medical procedures.
- Document patient medical histories, assessments, and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records.
- Administer medications and treatments according to strict medical protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and changing clinical situations with composure.
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred).
- Strong commitment to patient safety, ethics, and quality of care.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is a plus.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
