Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assisting with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
- Vital Monitoring: Accurately monitor and record patient vital signs, pain levels, and clinical changes.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Assistance: Support physicians and charge nurses with procedures, wound care, and patient transport.
- Compassion: Demonstrate empathy and cultural sensitivity in every patient interaction.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate, Bachelor's, or Diploma).
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Texas.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we value potential and passion.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and knowledge of medical terminology.
- Professionalism: Strong commitment to professional ethics, patient safety, and quality care.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
