Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Maintain sterile instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently
- Provide post-procedure instructions and patient education
- Assist in inventory management and ordering dental supplies
- Ensure clean, organized treatment rooms at all times
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix)
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
