Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and patient comfort
- Manage patient records using our digital dental software system
- Provide chairside assistance during crown and bridge procedures
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain sterile environment standards
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
