Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging systems
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain dental instruments
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and aftercare
- Manage digital patient records and scheduling software
- Assist with front desk duties as needed
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (RDA or DANB preferred)
- 1+ years of clinical dental assisting experience
- California radiology license
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or dental practice software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including some evenings/weekends
- CPR certification
