Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including endodontics and orthodontics
- Take accurate dental radiographs and digital impressions
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Prepare treatment rooms and instrument trays efficiently
- Deliver patient education on post-operative care
- Perform chairside assistance with suction and instrument transfer
- Manage inventory ordering and supply chain optimization
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant Radiology License (or eligible)
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to cover multiple practice locations in DFW
