Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation, suction, and patient monitoring
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision and care
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory of dental supplies
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Manage digital patient records using practice management software
- Coordinate treatment schedules and maintain efficient clinic workflow
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Arizona
- Minimum 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
- Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, or weekends as needed
