Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform infection control protocols and instrument sterilization
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for patient procedures
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Manage digital patient records using Dentrix/EagleSoft software
- Coordinate with front desk for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or Arizona state-recognized)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and dental imaging
- Excellent chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry skills
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings (until 7 PM) and Saturdays
- Basic CPR certification
- Valid Arizona state dental radiography permit
