Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs with documentation accuracy
- Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper dietary adherence for clients
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings using personal vehicles
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe and comfortable home environments
- Report changes in client health status to nursing staff and family members
- Implement individualized care plans with attention to physical, emotional, and social needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional home health aide or caregiver experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and negative TB test
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical care tasks
- Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills
- Reliable transportation for client visits
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in care documentation systems
