Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications with precision and verify patient information
- Manage inventory control, ordering, and pharmaceutical stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate patient records
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Collaborate with pharmacists to optimize prescription workflows
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
- Assist in compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations
Qualifications
- Active Nevada Pharmacy Technician license
- Prior retail/hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
