Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implant placements and cosmetic restorations
- Manage digital radiography (CBCT) and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Supervise dental assistant team members and ensure OSHA compliance
- Coordinate seamless patient flow across multiple operatories
- Maintain sterile instrumentation and infection control protocols
- Assist in advanced restorative procedures using CAD/CAM technology
- Train new assistants on practice protocols and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of dental assisting experience in specialty practice
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification required
- Advanced knowledge of digital dentistry workflows
- CPR/BLS certification and current radiology license
- Proven experience mentoring junior staff
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dexis imaging systems
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-end clinical environment
