Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage patient billing inquiries
- Maintain precise inventory control and ordering systems
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality protocols
- Operate pharmacy management software (e.g., QS/1, Rx30)
- Collaborate with healthcare team for coordinated patient care
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
- Proficient in prescription processing and inventory management
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
